The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is pleased to announce that on 4 November 2022, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad launched history.ahmadiyya.uk – a new website about the history of the establishment of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the UK.
His Holiness officially launched the website from the Mubarak Mosque in Islamabad, Tilford, after announcing its launch during his Friday Sermon.
The launch was followed by a silent prayer led by His Holiness in thanks to God Almighty.
His Holiness stated during his Friday Sermon that the new website, developed by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK, includes well researched articles about the era of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) during which his message reached widely in the United Kingdom.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“The website provides a timeline on the blessed era of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) which details how the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him)’s message reached the West. There is also another timeline about the services of the pioneer missionaries to the United Kingdom which also includes some companions of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him). A detailed research including relevant references has also been published about the prophecy of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) concerning Reverend John Hugh Smyth Pigott. Further articles are published on the website which highlight to the younger generation what the true purpose of their forefathers was in coming to these Western countries.”
