World Muslim Leader Visits Rotorua

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad visits geothermal geysers and Lake Rotorua

On 29 October 2013, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat and Fifth Khalifa, visited the scenic city of Rotorua in New Zealand.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad visited the famous geothermal geysers and mud pools where heat from within the earth flows from its sources to the surface.

The world leader also visited the picturesque Lake Rotorua, where he was able to view and absorb the natural beauty with which God Almighty has blessed New Zealand.

The Khalifa is on his second visit to New Zealand. The primary objectives of his visit are to inaugurate the Baitul Muqeet Mosque in Auckland; to attend the Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in New Zealand and to meet personally with hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims.

During his visit, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad will also deliver the keynote address at a Special Reception being held to mark the opening of the Baitul Muqeet Mosque.

His Holiness will also travel to Wellington to deliver the keynote address at a Reception being held in New Zealand’s National Parliament.

Wherever Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad travels he conveys Islam’s true and peaceful teachings.

In his lectures and addresses delivered in various parts of the world, His Holiness has repeatedly advocated for peace and justice at all levels of society.
