Muslim Leader Arrives in Brisbane
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has travelled to inaugurate the Baitul Masroor Mosque
The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat and Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad arrived in Brisbane on 22 October 2013 after a short flight from Sydney to inaugurate the new Baitul Masroor Mosque.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad arrived at the Baitul Masroor Mosque at 3.45pm local time and was greeted by hundreds of Ahmadi Muslim men, women and children all overjoyed at seeing their spiritual leader. The local Ahmadi Muslims raised Islamic slogans and recited poems to express their joy at the arrival of their spiritual leader.
The main objective of Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad’s visit to Brisbane is to officially inaugurate the Baitul Masroor Mosque, which will take place when His Holiness leads the Friday Prayers from the Mosque on 25 October 2013.
Whilst in Brisbane, His Holiness will also deliver the keynote address at a Special Reception being held to mark the opening of the Mosque.
In all of his sermons and addresses, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad conveys the true and peaceful teachings of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
During his current tour of Australia, His Holiness has already delivered keynote addresses in both Melbourne and Sydney during which he has spoken of the urgent need for justice at all levels of society.
During his visit to the city, His Holiness will also meet personally with hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad is on his second visit to Australia. During the current tour His Holiness also delivered the keynote addresses at the 29th Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Australia.
