Ansar Amila Members From Switzerland Have Honour of Meeting With Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
“You must work together in unity, as one body. Once unity is established, only then will you be able to draw blessings.” – Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad
On 18 January 2026, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad held a meeting with National Amila (Executive) Members of Majlis Ansarullah (Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Auxiliary) from Switzerland.
Following a silent prayer, His Holiness addressed the attendees, inviting each member to introduce themselves and enquiring about their respective roles and responsibilities within the auxiliary.
His Holiness instructed the Qaid Isaar, responsible for promoting welfare and service to Allah’s creation, to become more actively engaged and to intensify relief efforts for the poor and needy in developing countries.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad stated:
“You should encourage people to help the poor and needy in Africa, in third-world countries, in Pakistan – especially in the remote areas of Sindh – and wherever there is a need, whether in Africa or elsewhere. Urge them to give Sadaqaat (charity), offer assistance [to those in need] at Eid, install water facilities or contribute towards a hospital. At least one form of support should be provided [by the Swiss Ansar].”
Whilst addressing the Qaid Tabligh, who oversees outreach efforts to propagate the peaceful message of Islam, His Holiness observed that many people in Switzerland are largely indifferent towards religion and emphasised the need to explore different avenues of outreach so that the message of Islam may reach a wider audience.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad stated:
“Holding exhibitions alone is not enough. You should also try to explore some other ways of preaching. How can you expand your preaching activities? [Utilise] free literature, pamphlets and one-to-one contacts, and try to involve more Ansar in the scheme of ‘Da’iyaan Ilallah’ (Callers to Allah), those who are involved in preaching and Tabligh. Devise a comprehensive and extensive programme.”
During his remarks to the Qaid Taleem, who oversees religious education within the auxiliary, His Holiness emphasised the need to increase the participation of Ansar in educational programmes. His Holiness noted that if even 35 Ansar in Switzerland were to act upon the guidance contained in the Promised Messiah’s (peace be upon him) book ‘Noah’s Ark’ — which has been selected for study by the Taleem department this year — it could lead to a spiritual reformation.
In addition, His Holiness advised that regular efforts should be made to share passages from the books of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) covering the topics of Tauheed (the Oneness of God), the prophethood and noble character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the claims of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him).
Towards the end of the meeting, His Holiness reiterated the need for unity amongst the memers of the community.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad stated:
“You are a small Majlis (chapter), therefore you should strive to establish yourselves as an exemplary Majlis. You must work together in unity, as one body. Only once unity is established will you be able to draw blessings.
Ansarullah are of mature age, and therefore you should seek to guide and support others, taking everyone along with you. Nearly one fifth of the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community [in Switzerland] are Ansar, so if you ensure proper Tarbiyyat (moral and spiritual training) within your homes, extending it to your children, wives and brothers, then conditions will improve across the Community.”
The meeting concluded with a group photo, after which His Holiness graciously gifted pens to the attendees.
