Jalsa Salana Germany 2025 Concludes With Faith Inspiring Address
More than 46,000 people from all over the world attend three-day religious convention in Mendig
On 31 August 2025, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad concluded the 49th Annual Convention (Jalsa Salana) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Germany with an inspirational address.
His Holiness presided over the concluding session virtually from the Masroor Hall in Islamabad, Tilford, whilst more than 46,000 people gathered at the Jalsa site in Mendig, Germany.
His Holiness delivered a powerful address during the concluding session in which he outlined the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) in light of the immense progress of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community against all odds.
Beginning his address, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Today, the efforts of Ahmadi Muslims spread across the world to fulfil the pledge of allegiance to the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) — by sacrificing their lives, wealth, and time for the propagation of Islam’s message — are clear proof that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (peace be upon him) is indeed the one whom Allah the Almighty sent in this era for the revival of Islam. Without the support and succour of Allah, it would not have been possible for people from every corner of the world to join his community. This is a special favour of Allah, because He Himself had promised that when people begin to forget the teachings of Islam, a time would come when God would raise a man who, with the help of Allah, would convey Islam’s message to the ends of the earth.”
His Holiness spoke of the time at the advent of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) when Islam was in dire need of the fulfilment of the promises of Allah in relation to the latter days, as foretold by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“At the time when the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) came, every person who carried a deep concern for Islam was praying that Allah the Almighty would raise someone to rescue the sinking ship of Islam from the whirlpool it was caught in, so that its teachings could once again prevail and its beautiful, radiant message be made manifest to the world.”
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad went on and said:
“When we look at history, we find that no one was more concerned about this than Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (peace be upon him), who also took part in practical efforts for this cause. His heart was burdened, as if a fire burned within him, over how he could strive to spread Allah’s beautiful message and the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to the world. He longed to inform humanity and proclaim that today, if there is any religion that can bring one close to Allah and grant true knowledge of Him, it is Islam alone.”
His Holiness said that the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) wrote the book Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya at a time when Islam faced fierce criticism and onslaughts and many Muslims were leaving the faith. Scholars praised the book as unmatched in defence of Islam. This reflected his deep love for Islam and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and his desire to prove that Islam alone is the true, complete religion revealed by Allah.
His Holiness said that Islam’s revival was to be brought about by the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him).
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Through the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him), the true spiritual revival was set in motion, for otherwise the world was destined for spiritual death. Today, we see that people are so deeply immersed in materialism that spirituality has all but vanished, and religion is mocked. In such times, it is the duty of every Ahmadi Muslim who has taken the pledge of allegiance to fulfil it with utmost effort. Our deeds must reflect obedience to God and His teachings. We must strive to raise our standards of worship so they become a means of attaining His pleasure. Only then will we truly benefit from the blessings of the pledge of allegiance at the hand of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him), and partake of the divine blessings destined through our connection with him.”
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad further stated:
“The Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) made a clear proclamation that he was divinely appointed and called people to pledge allegiance to him. This was a claim beyond human capacity, for no false claimant in history lived a long life and saw his community flourish. By the grace of Allah, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community continues to progress, now established in more than 215 countries and nations of the world. This growth is solely due to God’s special support and succour. In contrast, false claimants were seized and destroyed by God, and even those who opposed the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) were ultimately brought to nothing.”
Speaking of the devout community granted to the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him), Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“Allah granted a community and provided a group of sincere individuals who not only made sacrifices but also set high standards and presented their lives as offerings. And this continues to this day. They do so solely to prioritise religion over worldly matters. When they offered the sacrifice of their lives, it was to fulfil the mission of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him). They remained steadfast in their faith with the pledge that they made, committing themselves to uphold it and to always prioritise their religion over the world.”
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad further said:
“In the world, we observe that wherever Ahmadi Muslims face martyrdoms, by the grace of Allah, it results in a better introduction of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, and the Community then spreads further. Similarly, another sign of divine communities is that they have helpers who are willing to make financial sacrifices. Thus, observe that today, on the face of the earth, it is only the followers of the True Servant of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) whose Community continues to make such sacrifices.”
His Holiness also stated that opponents of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community expose their falsehood through violence and injustice, while the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community continues to spread Islam’s true message worldwide. Despite opposition, by Allah’s grace, the Community grows every year, with hundreds of thousands joining it annually.
Reminding Ahmadi Muslims of their responsibilities, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said:
“You who have been fortunate enough to have accepted the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) in this era, it is your duty to convey this message to the world: that the Messiah and Mahdi who was to come has already appeared. Especially convey this message to Muslims, wherever possible. And in places where open preaching is not permitted, at the very least the people there can pray that Allah opens the hearts of the people and grants them the ability to accept the Promised Messiah.”
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad further stated:
“Today, the Muslim world faces a state of helplessness. Despite wealth and resources, many Muslim nations are so deeply absorbed in worldly pursuits that they remain vulnerable to repeated injustices from others with no one to truly defend them. Even when there is talk of war or jihad, there is no strength behind such claims. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community does not believe in violence. Instead, we affirm that the true path forward is through prayers and righteous actions, which alone can convey Islam’s beautiful message. If our deeds are virtuous and aimed at attaining Allah’s pleasure, then He Himself will create the means for the victories of Islam and Ahmadiyyat. We therefore pray for all oppressed Muslims—that Allah relieves them of every hardship—and remind believers that our foremost concern must be how to attain the pleasure of God.”
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad concluded his address and said:
“As the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) said, our weapons for victory are our prayers. We must give great attention to prayers, for only when we turn sincerely to them will Allah grant us success. Similarly, he taught us to strive to acquire religious knowledge, to fulfil the rights of Allah, and to establish regularity in the daily prayers. When we make efforts in all these areas, Allah will make us heirs to His blessings. May Allah enable all of us to fulfil these duties and to witness the continued progress of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in our lifetimes.”
