Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Arrives in Singapore
Greeted by delegates of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at from Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia
The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat and Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, arrived safely in Singapore on the afternoon of 22 September 2013.
His Holiness, who is on his second visit to the country, was greeted at Singapore’s Changi Airport by delegates of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat from Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Later in the day, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad travelled to the Taha Mosque, where he was greeted by Ahmadi Muslim men, women and children overcome with joy at seeing their spiritual leader once again. Thereafter, His Holiness led the Maghreb and Isha prayers.
Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has travelled to Singapore to meet with local Ahmadi Muslims and also those from neighbouring countries. In addition, His Holiness will meet local leaders and dignitaries. Wherever, His Holiness travels he conveys the true teachings of Islam, which are of peace, justice and brotherhood.
